PAGUDPUD RINNOVATI

Since our first option, Evangelines Beach Resort was fully booked on our intended stay, we had to search for a new resort for our overnight in Pagudpud. Texted a lot of resorts but most of them are already fully booked, except for Pagudpud Rinnovati. As per the staff I talked to, rate for the room for 6 pax is P5,500 - includes A/C room, private CR, tv, toiletries, & towels. I agreed with their pricing and proceeded to reserve the room. Advance payment of 50% was required and paid for it through bank deposit.

Never heard of the resort before so I searched the net for info on the resort. Thankfully, most of the reviews on the resort are positive. I hoped it would also be the same on our stay.

Come our check in time, we were greeted by their front desk personnel and assisted to our room.

Disappointingly, the room that was given to us was so small, i doubt if 6 pax would actually fit in there, parang pang 4 na tao lang yun room eh. And considering I paid P5,500, hindi worth it yun binigay na room sa amin.

FIRST ROOM

They probably noticed our disappointment as a few minutes later, a staff came and said that they'd be transferring us to a bigger room. hay buti naman...

SECOND ROOM
- much bigger, more space to walk around.

may closet pa

sa dulo yun beach

across evangeline beach resort

left and right windows on the upper floors are sized like the FIRST ROOM assigned to us
stairs to the 2nd flr

now here's the review:

PROS:
1) approachable and nice staff
2) puwede humiram ng utensils and cups for coffee
3) free cold and hot water (may dispenser sa ground flr)
4) near the beach, ilang steps nandun ka na
5) nag late check out kami ng 1 hr, no addt'l charges

CONS:
1) mahina ang tubig sa 2nd flr
2) some linens have stains, pillow are thin
3) A/C is noisy, luma na
4) cable TV has poor reception

actually, yun mga negative naman ng resort is madaling ayusin because more on mga gamit ang problem. ayusin lang nila sana para worth it yun binabayad ng guests. I can't complain regarding sa staff kasi ok talaga sila, mabait and magagalang.
